Musicianship and Performance Experience
To be an effective music educator, I need to be a competent and accomplished musician myself.
In my Senior year at Utah State University, I performed a senior recital, a thirty- minute solo recital featuring classical and contemporary pieces.

Setting Classroom Expectations
An important aspect of teaching is setting classroom expectations. To set clear expectations from the very beginning of the school year, I have created a handbook that includes information about the school year for both students and parents.
